I just heard that you’d finished part one. Congratulations, you crazy person, you! Good luck with the rest of your amazing project.

    Dear Sir or Madam –

I’ve tried to purchase Les Miserable on line but for some reason it didn’t work out so my question is – are you going to sell your game in the stores, in New York, for example? I would gladly buy it. Thank you. Irina.

Sorry you had trouble buying it. Did the link not work? or was it slow, or a problem with payment or something else? Whatever it is, I hope I can help. Regarding stores, game stores don’t usually take a game unless it’s from a well known publisher, or one with a lot of money to spend on promotion. I’m just one guy – I see this game as a labor of love, with myself as an author. I don’t think I’ll be able to get it into stores until it’s been on sale for a few years, and even then I don’t want to spend too much time on the business side or lose creative control. So for now it’s online only. Sorry. However, once it’s downloaded you don’t need an Internet connection or password or anything to play it. And the people who do the download (BMT Micro)can send the download on a CD if you like – e.g. if you have a slow internet connection (but they charge an extra ten dollars for that).

Help..I purchased Enter the Story already and was using the following email:
    fire_eyes5@worldnet.att.net
I have had to cancel this email and now my email is:
    slbarsuk@yahoo.com
Can you change my email address so I can get the next 2 games free when available for download? I cannot seem to get Outlook7 to work for me to contact you. Please let me know if you can do this for me.
    Thank you
    Sandra L. Barsuk

Sandra – thanks for getting in touch. That shouldn’t be a problem. It’s all handled by the folks at BMT-Micro, so I’ve emailed them and I’ll get back to you when they reply.

Sandra I got this reply from BMT, and it might be useful to other people so I’m posting it here as well:

“The email change will not affect your discount scheme in any way. [...] I have updated this customer’s email address in our database.

BTW, we are working on a system at this time that will allow your customers to update this information themselves from a secure customer area.”

This is very good news! When the customer area is ready I’ll blog about it and change the main web site.

[NB the "discount scheme" is where you pay full price for the first product and everything else has 100% discount.]

I have a question, will you have a site for Dante’s Inferno like the Les Mis one?

    Thanks.

  • tolworthy // August 21, 2009 at 6:59 am

No. The ‘Enter The Story’ site has a page on stories, which gives more detail about teach one. http://enterthestory.com/stories.html I need to add more pictures to that page. My goal is to eventually finish a new story every three to four months, so if I made a separate web site about each story I’d never have time to finish the actual games!
